The ideal candidate will:
Enjoy keeping spaces clean and organized

Have interest to learn more about seasonal, nutrient rich cooking
Hold our local food system close to the heart
Have some experience in a kitchen {whether home or work taught}
Receive fulfillment from being a part of a supportive team
Believe that creativity and discipline go hand in hand - we are a team of artists.
This role is for 2-3 shifts / 15 - 21 hours per week {advancement within team is possible and we like to teach}. Availability for at least one weekend day is an asset. Shifts usually end by 4:30pm.
Our kitchen offers a clean, professional and kind environment with a diverse team of talented and caring individuals. There is growth opportunities, natural light, our own herb/edible garden, a daily healthy meal AND we are located within a 9 acre botanical garden. $20/hr + great tips
This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Experience is helpful but not mandatory for the right candidate. Kindness & a positive attitude is essential.
The shifts usually entail a mix of dishwashing duties, vegetable processing, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
